Hare Pie Scrambling and Bottle Kicking today For most people the bottle kick,ing is the part of the day that they remember, and most see it as the cartoonist of Farmers' Weekly (below) did in 1975, as a sort of unregulated brawl. But it is much more interesting and complex than that. In this section of the site modern bottle kicking is illustrated through photographs taken by Simon, Matthew and Kelsie Hill and Topsy Jones on Easter Monday 2004. |
